Savory Herb Vinaigrette

Savory Herb Vinaigrette is one of our favorite salad dressing, it’s bright, and full of bold flavors. This recipe is easy, versatile, and delicious, the perfect dressing to add life to buddah bowls, grain bowls, pasta salad, roasted vegetables, or use as a marinade. Shake it up and start drizzling it over everything, it is a wonderful dressing that you’ll make again and again. Yields:  ½ cup

INGREDIENTS

6  tablespoons (80g) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2  tablespoons (28g) fresh Lemon Juice
2  teaspoons Serengeti Heat Dry Rub
1  teaspoon (5g) Dijon Mustard
½ teaspoon fine Himalayan Pink Salt, or to taste

PREPARATION METHODS
  1. Put all the dressing ingredients into a screw-top jar and shake vigorously until everything is emulsified (well blended). This creates a thick and creamy dressing that clings to your veggies. Keep in mind that the oil and lemon juice will separate as it sits, shake again before dressing your salad.
  2. Set aside for at least 1 hour to help the flavors mingle before use.
  3. Refrigerate up to a week, the longer it sits the better it tastes. High quality olive oil has the tendency to solidify in the refrigerator. Whenever you are ready to use dressing, set it out at room temperate to thaw (around 15 min).
