INGREDIENTS

1  pound Chicken Wings
1  tablespoon Serengeti Heat dry rub
1  tablespoons Olive Oil
¾ teaspoon fine Himalayan Pink Salt, or to taste

For serving:
Ranch or Blue Cheese Dressing, optional
Celery Sticks, optional

    MISE EN PLACE

    1. Make marinade: In a large bowl, combine Serengeti Heat, olive oil, and salt. Mix well to create a marinade.

    2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow them to marinate for 2-24 hours in the refrigerator.

    3. Adjust your oven racks to the middle position. (This is ideal for most foods since it allows the hot air to circulate around the wings, resulting in even cooking.)

    PREPARATION METHOD

    1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    2. Prepare baking pan: Line a standard size (9×13 inch) pan with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup

    3. Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet in a single layer, leaving a little space between each wing.

    4. Bake the wings: For perfectly cooked, moist, and tender wings, bake them for 20-25 minutes. If you prefer your wings extra crispy, extend the cooking time to 30-35 minutes. You can check for doneness by inserting a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the wing, which should read 165°F (74°C). Once the wings are cooked to your liking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly.

    5. Serve the baked wings hot with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch or blue cheese dressing. Accompany them with celery sticks for a classic wing experience.

    6. Enjoy your delicious homemade baked wings!
